The Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City is a landmark large-scale project developed with the intent to create a unique, vibrant and sustainable city highly attractive to global talent, well-positioned to drive the growth of China’s high valued-added knowledge-based industry and catalyst Guangdong’s economic restructuring.

Strategically located within the jurisdiction of the Guangzhou Development District (consistently ranked amongst China’s top state-level development zones) at the Pearl River Delta, the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City aims to serve as the knowledge and innovation center for the surrounding industry clusters in the economically dynamic region, and to provide a complete platform to host companies seeking to serve the country and South East Asia. It also serves as a launch pad for local companies seeking to internationalise globally, while providing a home for talent and skilled manpower.

The project is located on a greenfield site, and has a total area of 123 square kilometers. It is set in a lush, scenic, natural valley flanked by forested hills, with connecting infrastructure such as metro lines, regional high speed rail, highways, and expressways being constructed to support the development.

When fully completed, the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City is expected to house an estimated live-in population of more than 500,000 people, while serving the surrounding region’s population of over 2 million.
